A companion that helps you start

From stuck to started in 90 seconds.

You already know what you need to do. Starting is the hard part. Taskami turns the thing you're avoiding into one tiny first step, then stays with you while you do it.

Free to download. Every new install gets a 3-day free trial with everything unlocked. No card needed and nothing to cancel.

How it works

Three steps. The first one is tiny on purpose.

Taskami isn't a to-do list or a planner. It starts where the plan already failed: the moment you know exactly what to do and still can't begin.

1

Tell it what you're avoiding

Type the task however messy it is. "Dishes." "The email." "Homework." Then choose Help me start for just the first move, or Help me finish to walk the whole task one step at a time.

2

Get one tiny first step

Not a checklist. One thing, small enough to actually do. Still too much? Tap Make it smaller and it shrinks again.

"Just put one single dish in the sink."
3

Start, with company

Your companion stays on screen with you while you do it, with an optional timer. When you're done, tap Done, that's a start. Not today? Park it for later, no guilt.

See it work

Real screen recordings from the app

Three everyday tasks people put off, from "I can't" to the first step.

The dishes

A full sink becomes one dish.

The laundry

A pile on the chair becomes one armful.

The homework

A whole assignment becomes one line.

What's inside

Built for the moment before you start

It rewards starting

Your companion grows every time you begin something. Not when you finish, not when you're perfect.

It never makes you feel bad

Your companion never gets sick, angry or disappointed. Disappear for a week and it just gets sleepy: "Hard day? I saved your spot."

Four voices

Gentle, Funny, Direct or Quiet. The same step lands differently depending on how you talk to yourself, so pick what actually helps.

Calm Mode

Less motion, less sound, less sparkle, for days when everything is already too loud.

Gentle nudges

Reminders written as invitations rather than nags, and you can turn them off.

Gentle Planner and Brain dump

A low-pressure planner and a place to empty your head, with nothing asked of you. Included with the subscription.

Companions

Eight companions. Eight different ways in.

Advice that works on one person doesn't work on everyone. Each companion has its own way of getting you started, and each one grows as you do. How far it grows is something you find out in the app.

Who it's for

For anyone who knows what to do and still can't start

Many of the people who use Taskami have ADHD. Many don't. It's for the moment where the task is clear and your body still won't begin, and for anyone who has downloaded three productivity apps and abandoned all of them.

Taskami is a companion app, not a medical device or treatment. It does not diagnose or treat any condition.
